We stayed with Eero’s mother in Hyrynsalmi so that we could run a Orienteering Competition. My job was to right down the times of each competitor incase the computer times got messed up.

 Rotary Meeting

My first meeting with the Kuhmo Rotary Club. They were having a special party at a cabin on a lake. I learned to fish, talked about the my family and home, and ate way too much. I think that it is a Rotary tradition to do so.

Jukka had a track competition with his school mates. He easily won the sprint against his two opponents.

I found a pool! And a team, kind of. There are only three others, and no coach. So I have just been doing my own thing. It is nice to get into the water again! It is a 25 METER pool. Sweet!

Jukka-Pekka had an orienteering competition with other kids from the area. I walked down to the beach front and took some pictures before the competition started.
